Freya Rose’s eponymous label redefines British modern luxury. Her unique collections incorporate her knowledge of fine jewellery to create luxurious, jewelled shoes, using precious materials such as mother of pearl, brass and sterling silver. Her collections have gained her international awards and she is fast becoming regarded as one of the UK’s leading shoe couturiers. Her designs have been worn by some of the world’s most revered style icons from The Princess of Wales to Kate Moss and Rihanna to Olivia Palermo.
Her artisanal and alchemistic approach to design is innovative, with a passion for craftsmanship, beauty and form. This is combined with her resolute commitment to provenance and ethics.
With an acclaimed jeweller as a mother and a master goldsmith as a stepfather, Freya grew up immersed in the world of fine jewellery. Her own innate sense of style and design using rare and valuable stones is evidenced in her achieving a first-class honours degree from London’s prestigious University of the Arts in Footwear Design.
