About The Event

How to make China work better for your business and brands? A practitioner’s guide

The BFA are pleased to announce the next webinar in their new monthly webinar series, ‘BFA Going Global’, which aims to equip members with the information they need when considering new international markets for their footwear business.  Each month we will explore a new region and highlight the opportunities (and potential challenges) that footwear businesses should consider when “Going Global”.

On Tuesday 26th October at 11:00am we are delighted to be joined by Ting Zhang, Founder and CEO of Crayfish.io

Strong and fast economic recovery reflected in the Q2 Chinese economic data shows that the country continues to provide significant opportunities for Western brands, whether in eCommerce or sourcing and manufacturing.  But the market dynamics are constantly evolving and it is not getting easier for international companies to engage with the world’s 2nd largest economy. How can a British brand owner make the most of the opportunities in the rest of 2021 and beyond?

Ting Zhang will share her insights from her personal experience of working in both China and UK in the last two decades, and focus on how best to approach the Chinese market as a foreign business.

Speaker:
