2027 Ambition for 2D-QR Code Compliance
By 2027, 1D-Barcodes must be accompanied with 2D-QR codes. All brands will need to adhere to GS1 Standards for these codes to work on major retailer POS systems. This adoption has already begun in Brazil and Australia.
