As third-generation twin brothers, David and Charles Denton, running DB Wider Fit Shoes alongside David’s wife, Helen Denton, and with the support of the next generation, they believe their business perfectly exemplifies how family and modern practices can thrive together. Founded right here in Northamptonshire in 1920, with family roots in shoemaking stretching all the way back to 1841, they have always specialised in designing comfortable and stylish shoes for wider feet and those with challenging medical conditions.
David shared his thoughts on the win:

– Invest over £400,000 in improving their buildings, making sustainable upgrades, and refurbishing their on-site Fitting Centre right here in Rushden.
