About Rosamund Muir
Identifying both her own needs and the needs and frustrations of others, Rosamund Muir was driven to establish a brand offering the most luxurious heeled footwear, rooted in sustainable practices and with joy and empowerment at its heart.
Rosamund designs with women in mind, injecting her uniquely British twist into elegant and timeless silhouettes. The result is beautiful shoes with enduring spirit, that are designed to be worn forever.
Originally from Northumberland, Rosamund lived in Italy, Switzerland and France before moving to London to work in Design and Advertising. On becoming a busy Mum of three, she decided to follow her passion for shoes, training at London College of Fashion (formerly Cordwainers College) in Footwear Design and Pattern Making – and the Rosamund Muir brand was born.
Each shoe is expertly handmade by a small team of artisans using only the finest Italian materials, reviving age-old traditional techniques sustainably through small batch production, a zero-waste policy and the use of premium Italian deadstock leathers.
Since launching in March 2020 Rosamund Muir havebeen featured by both Grazia and Tatler UK as one of the best British brands to buy now and by Country & Townhouse as a Best Sustainable Footwear Brand.
