The Prince of Wales visits Trickers and Gaziano & Girling

HRH celebrates two of the regions most respected shoe makers

Two of Northamptonshire’s most respected shoe manufacturers and BFA members, Trickers and Gaziano & Girling will welcome Prince Charles to their factories today.

The Prince of Wales will visit the home county of shoe-making to mark Trickers 190th anniversary in the industry and to celebrate Gaziano & Girling opening their factory doors 10 years ago – becoming the first to do so in the region for more than 100 years.

Prince Charles will be touring the factories today (Monday, January 28th) meeting apprentices and workers and viewing the various processes involved in creating a pair of shoes.

His Royal Highness has an already established link to Trickers, one of Northamptonshire’s oldest manufacturers, as the renowned firm has held a Royal Warrant from Prince Charles since 1989.
