Quarterly Forecast Webinar

We are pleased to welcome the return of the BFA’s resident Economist, Gary Raines, and Wayne Gibson of RIF Worldwide to present a webinar for BFA members on Tuesday 1st February 2022 at 2pm.

Whilst Gary will be speaking on broader issues that colour the UK market outlook for footwear (as well as narrower issues endemic to footwear), Wayne will be providing an overview on the Chinese New Year; how it can affect your businesses and any challenges which are to be expected.

A list of topics for discussion include:

• The broader UK economic outlook, and how that can influence the footwear market

• Trends at retail for footwear – demand & prices

• Foreign trade developments – a review of imports and exports of footwear

• Covid & consumer confidence

• Chinese New Year, what to expect

• Freight challenges

After the 30 minute presentation, there will be an open Q&A session. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have to Gary and Wayne.
